1. Acceptance and Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and RoofReplacementStamford.com ("the site," "we," "us," or "our"). They cover roofreplacementstamford.com, the referral phone line that connects callers with independent roofing contractors, and related emails (together, the "Services").

By visiting the Website or calling the referral line, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you act for a condo association, landlord, property manager, business or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.

2. Roofing Information and Call Referrals

The Website offers general roofing information and a phone line that connects callers in Stamford, Connecticut with independent local roofing contractors. This site performs no roof work. Calling the number, hearing a recorded greeting or being connected with a contractor does not create a contract, promise that anyone is available, book an appointment, set a price, or mean that a roof problem can be diagnosed or fixed.

Contractors are independent businesses, not employees or agents of this site. Availability, scope, scheduling, access, prices, warranties, permits, payment terms and every other part of a roofing job are settled between you and the contractor in their estimate, contract or other direct communication. Check the contractor's Home Improvement Contractor registration with the Department of Consumer Protection before work starts, and confirm who will apply for the building permit.

You agree to give accurate contact, property and roof details and to correct them if they change. You are responsible for getting permission from an owner, tenant, condo association, manager or other person when permission is needed to arrange roof work or share their details.

3. Safety and Emergency Limitations

The Website is not an emergency service and should not be relied on for real-time safety instructions. If a roof or ceiling is sagging or has collapsed, water is reaching electrical fixtures, there is fire or a gas smell, or a storm has left downed lines or another immediate hazard, leave the area and call 911, the fire department, the utility company or building management.

General information on the Website does not replace an on-site inspection by a qualified roofing contractor. Do not climb onto a wet, icy, steep or storm-damaged roof, walk on damaged decking, handle electrical equipment, enter unsafe attics, or attempt work beyond your training based only on Website content.

4. Privacy and Electronic Communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, kept and protected. By calling the referral line, you agree that your number and ZIP area may be passed to the contractor who takes the call, and that the contractor may contact you about your roof. Calls may be recorded. That is not consent to unrelated marketing.

You are responsible for your phone, internet and device charges. Calls and emails can be delayed, filtered, intercepted or misdirected, so do not send highly sensitive information by email.

5. Acceptable Use

You confirm that you have the right to share it.

If you send ideas or feedback without a separate confidentiality agreement, we may use them freely and without payment, but any personal information that comes with them is handled under the Privacy Policy.

This site does not warrant any contractor's work. Images, descriptions, upkeep tips and examples are illustrative and are not a diagnosis, estimate, code ruling or statement about a specific roof.

Some places do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Where that is so, the exclusions apply only as far as the law allows.

9. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent the law allows, RoofReplacementStamford.com and its owners, affiliates, personnel, licensors and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, loss of goodwill, property damage or personal injury arising from or related to use of or inability to use the Website or referral line, reliance on general Website content, work done by any contractor, a third-party technical service, or unauthorized access, even if told such harm was possible.

To the fullest extent the law allows, any liability for claims that arise only from using the Website or referral line covers proven direct damages. This limit leaves untouched any liability the law does not allow to be limited and any contract you sign with a roofer.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold the protected parties harmless from third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, a breach of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or sharing information without the needed authority. This duty does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct.

10. Suspension, Termination, and Discontinuation

We may suspend or end access to the Services when reasonably needed to deal with a violation, security risk, legal requirement, abuse or operational problem. You may stop using the Website or referral line whenever you choose. Terms that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification and dispute terms, will survive.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law or mandatory consumer law applies. Before bringing a claim, you agree to contact us and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Unless the law requires otherwise, claims relating to these Terms or the Services must be brought in the state courts for the Stamford judicial district, or in the federal court with jurisdiction over Stamford, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there. Either party may still seek emergency injunctive relief or use a qualifying small-claims process.

12. General Terms

Changes

These Terms are effective November 1, 2026. We may revise them, and a revised version takes effect when it is posted unless a later date is stated. Continuing to use the Services after that date means you accept it.

Severability and waiver

Interpretation
